RESUME

BIO:

Avery has been a professional actor since 1978. Along the way he has tackled other roles but all along remained true to his love with the theatre.

For 30 years of that career, he was primarily an actor playing most theatres cross Canada, Broadway, US Regionals, London’s West End and Concerts in Covent Garden, Millennium Stadium in Cardiff Wales, and Royal Albert Hall in London.

For the past 18 years, he has been the co-Artistic director of The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company. The largest not-for-profit theatre professional theatre company in the country that dedicates itself to telling the Jewish Story. In this capacity he has directed many shows with such actors as Thom Allison, Louise Pitre, Hannah Miller, Ralph Small, Kelly Holiff, Colin Mochrie, Patrick McKenna, Cynthia Dale and Jackie Richardson, Brent Carver to name a few.

He hopes to continue to do good work that feeds the soul.
