BIO:
Siobhán is a Toronto-based Lighting Designer with credits in Theatre, Opera and Dance.
Over the past few years, her work has been seen in Canada, The United States, India, Sweden, Australia and the Czech Republic. She has been a Lighting Designer for: The Shaw Festival, Against the Grain Theatre, Grand Theatre, Tapestry Opera, Theatre Aquarius, Canadian Opera Company (OYA), Arkansas Rep, Neptune Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects, Drayton Entertainment, Thousand Islands Playhouse, Adirondack Theatre Festival, Globe Theatre, The Musical Stage Company, Young People’s Theatre, Harold Green Jewish Theatre, Winnipeg Studio Theatre, Buddies in Bad Times and Theatre Passe Muraille among others. She has been the Lighting Designer for Anandam Dance Theatre since 2005.
Siobhán is the Associate Lighting Designer for Come From Away (Toronto, Winnipeg and Ottawa), La Traviata (COC), Sousatzka: The Musical (Teatro Proscenium) and Jukebox Hero (Annerin Productions). She has been an Assistant Lighting Designer for The San Francsico Opera for Die Frau ohne Schatten, Madama Butterfly and El Ultimo Sueño de Frida y Diego, Canadian Opera Company and The Stratford Festival.
Occasionally, between theatre shows, Siobhán has done some work in Art Galleries and Museums. This includes the lighting and layout design of THE ART OF BANKSY: UNAUTHORIZED PRIVATE COLLECTION in Toronto, Miami, Gothenburg and Sydney, as well as Lighting design of the exhibition Star Turns at the Bata Shoe museum and programming the lighting score of Brendan Fernandes’ piece FUTURE (...—...) PERFECT in Nuit Blanche 2008.
